Alumni & Students

Current students

Since the University’s charter in 1840, Southwestern students have played an important role in its future. At Southwestern, students often choose to make a gift to the institution before they graduate; many make gifts every year they are enrolled and become members of the Brown Society. In 2015-2016, 29 percent of Southwestern students made an investment in their own Southwestern Experience, and 128 became members of the Brown Society. Southwestern is grateful for these student donors who are a vital part of the University’s vibrant future.

Alumni by Decade

Alumni demonstrate loyalty to their alma mater by making a gift to support the Southwestern Experience. Through their support, alumni ensure that future generations of students have the same opportunity to obtain a Southwestern education that they had.
